Can the Cat's keep the Gator's in the sewer where they belong?
The game looks like a toss-up, but Kentucky should be the favorite by a nose. According to the RPI rankings, the Wildcats are the better team, with a rank of #12 to the Gators #17. Kentucky has better team stats than Florida in two areas. The Wildcats are strongest against the Gators in blocked shots, a big defensive factor, where they have the advantage 6 per game to 4 per game. Kentucky is also better at three point shooting, 39% to 33%. The Gators, however, are better with steals, 6 per game to 5 per game. Last season, the Wildcats went 2-0 against the Gators, with an average 10 point margin of victory. Over the last four seasons, Kentucky is 4-4 against Florida, and 1-3 at O'Connell Center. All of this should result in the Wildcats escaping the Gators.
