Kentucky will be making its NCAA record 51st NCAA Tournament appearance, capturing the Southeastern Conference's automatic berth after posting a 70-54 win over the 12th ranked Florida Gators in the SEC Tournament championship.

The Wildcats clamped down on the Gators defensively, holding them to just 38.6 pct. from the field while forcing Florida into 14 turnovers, which the Cats converted into 20 points on the offensive end.
Kentucky on the other hand was very stingy with the ball, turning it over just six times.
Brandon Knight led the Cats offensively with a game-high 17 points. He was joined in double-figures by Terrence Jones (16), Darius Miller (15) and DeAndre Liggins (10).
