DETROIT -- The euphoria over Kentucky point guard Brandon Knight falling into the Pistons' lap at No. 8 in Thursday night's NBA draft wasn't necessarily shared with other members of a now-crowded backcourt.
The Pistons have an important decision to make. Knight's not coming here to sit. He's playing. And those minutes must come from somewhere. Knight's arrival forces the Pistons' hand in choosing either Rip Hamilton or Ben Gordon.
One definitely must go with Knight ordained as the new point guard and Joe Dumars still believing Rodney Stuckey is salvageable with another new coach, especially now that he's liberated from lead guard responsibilities.
