Perry Ellis' recruitment has been widely-scrutinized for several years, due to his status as a three-time state champion and two-time Gatorade Player of the Year in Kansas.
It looks like the 6-foot-8 forward from Wichita Heights (Kan.) is ready to start making progress with a decision, though.
Late Thursday night, Fonda Ellis, Perry's mother, sent out an email release stating that Perry had trimmed his list to a final four: Kansas, Kansas State, Wichita State and Kentucky.
"Perry said he decided to pick the schools that he feels the most comfortable with and that have been recruiting him the longest," his mother told CBSSports.com. "All of these schools have been recruiting him hard in July."
